What buffer will my antibody be supplied in?
Unless otherwise stated, most antibodies will be supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) at pH7.4.
 
What preservatives are present in my antibody?
Unless otherwise stated, most antibodies will contain 0.01% Sodium azide and 1% trehalose. Sodium azide acts as an anti-microbial agent whilst trehalose behaves as a stabiliser. 
 
How should I look after and store my antibody?
Long-term storage of antibodies are best stored at -20°c and should be aliquoted to avoid freeze thaw cycles. Short-term storage at 4°c is acceptable for antibodies actively being used.
 
How has my antibody been purified?
Unless otherwise stated, most antibodies will have been purified by affinity chromatography. 
 
How do I know if my antibody will detect my target of interest?
All antibodies have been screened by ELISA, Western Blot and IHC against native and recombinant samples and details of which can be found on each antibody datasheet, please refer to this for further information.
 
What dilution should I use my antibody at?
Please refer to the antibody datasheet for recommended dilutions for a particular assay.
