Anti-OOEP antibody

Description

FLOPED/OOEP is an abundant protein in the oocyte cytoplasm and the absence of this protein leads to early embryonic arrest in both mice and humans. It is part of the subcortical maternal complex (SCMS). The protein is conserved across mammals, and mutations in the Floped gene has been linked to female infertility.
